Our ISR Disco Radio Hall of Famer 
this month is none other than
 Ms. LaDonna Gaines of Boston, Massachusetts.

Born December 31, 1948 she is better known by her stage name:

Donna Summer

Donna Summer is a five-time Grammy Award winner, and the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach No. 1 on the Billboard album chart.

Ms. Summer has reportedly sold over 140 million records, making her one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.

Her biggest hit records include: Bad Girls, I Feel Love, On the Radio, and Love to Love you Baby.

Her song: "Last Dance" won the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song from a Motion Picture from the "Thank God It's Friday" soundtrack. 

As she traveled the world performing her music she became known as the "Queen of Disco", and her music quickly gained a global following that exists up to today.
